Tornadoes striking over Mississippi.
by Milota Sidorova

May is almost here, so it is the season of hurricanes, storms and monsoons. So far, people didn't find out how ti beat these natural elements, but in some regions they have learnt to count with them. The damages, however, are always significant. Several tornadoes rode their ways through central Mississippi during the weekend and killed at least 10 people. There were also dozens on injured such as destroyed buildings. The nature forces hit in 17 counties but it hit the hardest on Choctaw and Yazoo County. Yazoo, however was harder to reach due locations in hills rising out of the Mississippi Delta and rescuers had to use all-terrain vehicles to reach victims. Most of the ar! ea was left without business and homes. There was several storms hitting, including 1.6 kilometer wide tornado. But it seems strong tornadoes are developing in neighboring states as well. The element is created when cold and hot wind streams mix together and move along the landscape. Some of them are only on the soil ground (they are not usually that strong), but some are developed on the open ocean and get the moisture and the water within and create hurricanes. They move along the shores sometimes they lead to the continent where they loose the most of its power and turn into storms. Some of them may return back to the sea and regain the power and start the whole cycle from the beginning. Hurricanes and tornadoes are usually striking over whole Carribean area and the south and central part of the U.S.
