Healthcare bill approved by the Senate, waiting to be signed by President
by Milota Sidorova

As expected the U.S. Senate approved technical changes in healthcare reform bill and send it back to the House of Representatives today. If House of Representatives agrees the bill it will go directly to President Barack Obama who already signed the bill as law. The more fights did the reform passage caused before crucial weekend, the less problems it seems to make these days. House of Representatives is greatly expected to approve and send it to President.Political analyst said it was bloody victory for a president loosing his popularity, seats in the Congress and international image. Opposition Republicans however, didn't drop off the fight – their revenge would com! e in November regional elections. The passage of troubled healthcare reform was dirty and controversial – except of low minded adverts and campaigns, the access to the current version of the reform was of difficulties. The bill was changed so many times that critics said it had nothing with the original idea. The major issue of the bill was the general insurance coverage for every American. That would be something new to the current pay and cash health system. The insurance would be obligatory for every citizen, including 32 million of uninsured and poor Americans. The final changes approved in the Senate included extending of insurance availability to more states and poor citizens and cancelled Nebraska exemption from not donating Medicaid expansion costs, close a gap in prescription drug coverage to older patients and delay a tax on high-cost insurance plan. The whole reform should cost about $2.5 trillion healthcare system.
