Tropical storm called Fay by kristina leskova

Not every person knows how it is to survive a storm, earthquake or some tornado. We live in a world which is full of these disasters. Some years ago this happened only casually and people were not prepared. Nowadays the scientists can warn people before the storms are coming. And I think that people are more informed and prepared to face the effects of hurricanes, tornados, storms and earthquakes. These disasters are coming from nature and until now it is not possible to stop them. The worst situation is on the coast where the tropical storms come quite often. In these days we speak about the tropical storm which is called Fay. This storm is the sixth named storm of the 2008 hurricane season. Fay formed on August 15 from a tropical wave over the Dominican Republic. On the 18th August Fay caused landfall in Florida. This storm migrated from water to land and it is the first storm which made four landfalls in Florida. The people from Georgia and Louisiana were at first happy when the rain began. Because their country was very dry. But the rain did not want to stop and the wind was still stronger. This storm caused serious damages of crop and the farmers are trying to estimate the damage. The farmers are afraid, because the cotton plants can decompose due to the impacts of rain. In the Caribbean area we can speak about another storm called Gustav. Gustav became a hurricane as it crossed the coast of Haiti. Many Haitians were prepared for evacuation and they are still threatened although the hurricane continues damaging other countries.
