Fire – it comes unexpected and spreads really quickly. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reported that huge fire endangers the edge of Los Angeles. But this fire could be even worse. Fire in California is nothing new. It comes every year and damages the surrounding. The worst fires are awaited during fall when Santa Ana winds cause that fire comes from wilderness into suburbs. The wind together with the fire is very dangerous because the fire spreads quickly through canyons and in few minutes the fire endangers citizens and their homes. The people were worried about historic observatory on Mount Wilson northeast of Los Angeles. The flames could damage it. Mount Wilson is! not only observatory but there are also television, radio and cell phone antennas. The fire fighters have lot to do here. This fire is just one of hundreds fire and they know that the situation will be much worse when the wind will come. This area is very dry and this is ideal condition for a fire. People come here to watch the fire and some of them like Jennifer Pelon (43 years old) come here to see whether her house is still standing. She could just watch as the flames were just few meters from her home. Some of the fire fighters are already very tired but they are still prepared to quensch the fire. This fire had also two victims. Two firefighters Tedmund Hall (47 years old) and Arnaldo Quinones (35 years old) were killed on Sunday when their vehicle fell from a mountain road. Wife of Arnaldo is expecting a child soon and Tedmund and his wife have two adult children.
