11th September 2001, do you remember what happened? This day changed the United States of America, especially New York. Many people can not forget the incident, because they lost their family relatives, friends, colleagues. On that day terrorists crashed two airliners into the Twin Towers. Twin Towers were the part of World Trade Center. WTC was a complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan. Three of the buildings collapsed & One World Trade Center known as the North Tower, Second World Trade Center known as the South Tower and Seven World Trade Center. The Marriot WTC was crushed by the collapse of twin towers. Other three remaining buildings 4 WTC, 5 WTC, 6 WTC were damaged and later demolished. There died many citizens & people who were not guilty. All people on the board of airliners died, they had no chance to survive. Because the terrorists took over the control of airplane and they attacked twin towers. There were also many people who worked in these buildings and they had no time to rescue. Nowadays it is 7 years after that horrible case. There were many speculations about the 7 WTC, the scientists asked how this building collapsed. The 7 World Trade Center was a steel and concrete building. It was 47 floor building, about 174 meters high. The official version says that this building was set on fire by the falling debris from other towers. But the skeptics could not believe that this was the reason of crushing. Many people thought that it was a controlled demolition. And why did not the sprinkler system extinguish the fire? The investigators think that the collapse of the 13th floor had weakened a critical steel support column and this led to crash of the building. The scientists recommend building buildings with stronger connections and framing systems that could resist the effects of thermal expansion.
