Nature testing our patience and ability to exist without technologies
Strong storms, floods, snowing, canal ruptures followed by freezing weather. That's how the current situation in some southwestern states of US looks like. Nevada is affected by levee break, long-lasting storms hit Californian towns and furthermore in some parts avalanches are being expected.Crazy weather conditions caused a few deaths as well. Near L.A. a woman was killed after her truck was swept into a flood channel. Many people were rescued from atop homes. The sound of helicopter can be noticed constantly. What' s even worse, the stormed ripped down almost 500 miles of power lines deteriorating the case much more.Natural disasters are always a part of our weather, our climate. No matter what century, what nation, they sometimes occur and we tend to get powerless despite all the technologies we developed. Is there a way we can avoid them and keep us safe? Nowadays, nothing like that exists. From other point of view, the more developed our nations are, the more hazardous such situations become. Ten centuries ago, existence of electricity wasn't even the craziest dream and in spite of that humans enjoyed the way they were living. The acts of nature belonged to threats of life, to cases than happen time to time. Today, the character of our life differs. Technologies affect our everyday aspects. Without electricity we have serious difficulties to survive. Let's face it: our own inventions obstruct the way of life. The weather forecasts aren't reporting any big improvement in the next days. Americans will need to learn how to survive on their own in the following moments. Scientists steadily endeavor to come up with the newest inventions. A challenging suggestion for them should be an invention of the method how to survive without technologies.
