McCann"s ordeal continues
by Claudia Sonea

Madeleine McCann, the four year-old girl that disappeared four months ago, is considered to be dead by the Portuguese police. After many failed attempts to find her and the last discoveries the parents are now declared as suspects. Until recently the main suspect was Robert Murat, a 33-year-old man, son of Jenifer Murat, the owner of Vila Liliana- the house where the McCanns stayed for their summer holiday. After some witness confessed they have seen a middle-build Caucasian that was carrying a child or something which might have resembled a child, Chief Police Officer Olegário Sousa stated that the description fits that of the one who kidnapped Sara Morales, 14, and 7-year-old Yeremi Vargas, in the Canary Islands. Also was reported a man carrying a child to marina and it matched the time when a British man's yacht left the harbor. Urs Hans Von Aesch and others were suspects, but no accusation or evidence of guilt was brought. The British police involvement was crucial, because they discovered the blood traces on the wall, the hair and fibers that led to the conclusion that Madeleine is actually dead. Moreover, after the police discovered on Friday traces of blood in the couple's car, rented 25 days after Madeleine's disappearance, in southern Portugal. On 6 September Kate McCann was brought in for interrogation at the police station in Portimão, in the presence of Carlos Pinto de Abreu, McCanns' Portuguese lawyer. After more than 10 hours of questioning she left the station, but returned later on the same day- 7 September. Then her husband was interrogated and despite the fact that they were named suspects, they were allowed to come back home. In an interview to Sunday Mirror, Kate declared that police Portuguese offered her a deal and pressured her in declaring that she accidentally killed her daughter, put her in a bag for a month and then dumped her, she will receive a two or three years sentence with suspended sentence. Gerry McCann said they are not giving up to the search of their daughter and that they will help the police with everything they need. McCann's ordeal continues to get worst and worst everyday. The case got in to the media attention after the tour of the couple and the involvement of children's author J.K. Rowling and soccer star David Beckham and other celebrities. Furthermore, the family raised around 2 millions dollars, but that will probably help them to pay the attorney. From a suffering family, the McCanns have transformed over night in the suspects of their daughter's assassins. What will happen next?...stay connected and find out.
