Care about them by Zuzana Valkova

Animals should be our friends, someone who is still in your house, wait for you to come back from work, be with you when everyone else is gone. They love us; we are something like heroes and only families for them. So that's why we should care about them, love them back and protect them. Lots of people do it like this. But there should be more. Many people don't think the same. Animals are nothing for them. After a while they are not so excited about them, no more interested. It was only a short joy for them or for their kids. They stop to care about them, what can cause even the death of the animal. In the States there is a new problem. Lots of people have problem with mortgages and paying for their houses, so they have to go away, and very often they leave their pets locked in empty houses. Sometimes they have no other choice; animals are not allowed in their new homes. I can understand that loosing home is very hard and it makes more problems, but every time they have enough time to give that animal to someone else or just bring it to special place for lonely animals. Would they leave there one of their children, because they have too many of them??? Never. So why they can't care about that animal? I think the law should be stronger for all the people who are treating animals like this. What is it about? Does it make them feel happy? Don't they have enough place on this planet?? I hope one day will people wake up and start think like a real human.
